Dr. Ashvanee Kumar Sharma is a renowned senior interventional cardiologist dedicated to delivering advanced, evidence-based cardiac care in Kanpur. He completed his DM in Cardiology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, and brings over a decade of specialised experience in managing complex heart conditions.
Dr. Sharma has successfully performed more than 20,000 coronary angiography and angioplasty procedures, along with extensive experience in pacemaker implantation, AICD, CRT, and structural heart interventions. His clinical expertise includes percutaneous device closures for ASD, VSD, PDA, balloon mitral valvotomy, and advanced peripheral interventions such as renal, carotid, and subclavian angioplasty.
He is an award winner at CARDICON 2023 and has multiple national and international publications, including chapters in leading cardiology textbooks. As a life member of ACC, CSI, and the Indian Hypertension Society, Dr. Sharma stays aligned with global cardiology guidelines.
